Why did the Chicken cross the road?
Werner Heisenberg: "First, assume a spherical chicken of radius r ..."
Carl Friedrich Gauss: "The chicken defined himself to already be on the other side of the road, and thus, did not need to cross it."
J. Willard Gibbs: "The free energy of the reaction consisting of the chicken's crossing was negative, thus the crossing occurred spontaneously."
Anyone out there get these? I didn't but some of you might...

I think I understand where the Gauss quote is coming from... My brain will have to think further to explain that - do you want me to come up with something by Saturday?
Heisenburg... Uncertainty principle? Like I said, a little more thought required.
